A stunning farm backdrop a short drive from the Sydney CBD make this Ottimo House Wedding stand out! But what makes it so special is the connection between Elisa and Danie and how far they have come to say their vows.
The girls met through Danie’s sister while playing soccer. However, it wasn’t until many years later that Danie and Elisa became best friends. At this time they spent most of their time together. “Our friendship moved into uncharted territory and blossomed into something neither of us was expecting but we haven’t looked back since.”
Their Ottimo House wedding was extremely emotional. Not all of Elisa’s family wanted to come to the wedding so the family that did come stayed very close and gave her all the support she needed. Danie’s family were also very supportive and it so wonderful to see so many supporting these two women who had been through a lot to get to the aisle.
Danie and Elisa were really happy with their choice to have an Ottimo House wedding. “We wanted everyone to enjoy the day and not go overboard with theatrics or embellishments, the venue itself is breathtaking.”
Elisa and Danie offer some tips for others planning their wedding.
“I think you just have to remember that the day is about you, pick a venue that resonates with you, not just somewhere convenient or close or extravagant. If you want a farm wedding, choose it, if you want a castle wedding go for it. No one else should factor into your day apart from you and your other half.”
“Go with your gut feelings and stick to your budget – but always be flexible. If you can’t save on one price, look at saving on another, that’s what we did!”
“Take the time to go, “WOW!”, the day will be over before you know it so take as much in as you can.”
