Sally and Matt’s Thunderstorm Book Barn Wedding at Bendooley Estate
A Summer Wedding in the Southern HighlandsThere were only a few raindrops during the ceremony but lots of thunder which means Sally and Matt’s wedding will be one family and friends will never forget! The ceremony took place under the big beautiful trees overlooking the lake on Southern Highland’s Bendooley Estate. Then the celebrations continued with a Book Barn Wedding reception.
It was the first time I had a wedding with overcast conditions at this stunning property in Berrima. This also meant the light was softer and was absolutely perfect for the ceremony and for the photos around the property! As you will see from the photos, you can achieve beautiful photos without the sun having to shine! And you might even have some visitors turn up for your bridal party photos – Sally and Matt found a sweet little frog!
The temperature also dropped to 24 degrees and was a welcomed relief. There was a good feeling throughout the entire day as Sally and Matt spent lots of time mingling with their friends and family. You would never know they don’t like being in front of the camera!
